At Haileybury Rendall School on Friday, 26 March Haileybury Rendall School hosted the Leukemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. This event raises the much-needed funds to support people with blood cancer and related disorders that can develop in anyone, of any age and at any time. The Haileybury Rendall School leadership and SRC representatives and the coordinator Ms Lisa Cadd organised this very successful event.
The whole school community came together to celebrate this monumental event by encouraging the brave student and staff who had registered to raise funds either by shaving or colouring their hair.
An astonishing amount of $22 831.88 was raised! The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, as the whole school participated by enjoying and donating at the stalls that were available, such as temporary WGS tattoos, coloured hairspray and a BBQ lunch.
