It is a great pleasure that we welcome Mr Andrew McGregor as the new Principal of Haileybury Rendall School.
Prior to accepting this role he was the Associate Principal of Westbourne Grammar School in Melbourne for 8 years where he was directly involved in the growth of student and staff numbers, a significant increase in academic achievement for students of all ages and the addition of significant school facilities.
He believes that student learning is the school’s core business and that a contemporary education also involves development of the whole person and involvement in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
A senior Mathematics teacher, Mr McGregor also worked at Haileybury’s Berwick Campus as Head of the Senior School and credits his broad experience and knowledge to having had the privilege of working in some of the best co-educational schools in Victoria.
“Another exciting year lies ahead for us as we continue our drive to be recognised as the best school in northern Australia. Our total enrolments from the Early Learning Centre through to Year 12 are approaching 780 students which is just one great indicator of the successful development of Haileybury Rendall School by my predecessor and inaugural principal, Mr Craig Glass. I congratulate Craig and all members of his team on what has been achieved over the last three years.”Andrew McGregor, Principal
