Alumni Spotlight: Meet Elyse!
Elyse Temple-Smith (OH 2022) has transitioned from administration in an allied health clinic to a role in education, while pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at Charles Darwin University.
After a year working in administration for an allied health clinic, Elyse Temple-Smith (OH 2022) recently commenced a new role in the education sector, working in secretariat with a regulatory body. She is also super excited to commence studying a Bachelor of Laws at Charles Darwin University.
At the end of 2023, Elyse spent 5 glorious weeks travelling through Europe and now has the travel bug! She would love to be chosen for a 6-month study exchange to the Netherlands in mid-2025.
When reflecting on her time at HRS, Elyse is most grateful for the effort and passion of the teachers. “They took an interest in our lives and not only taught us the content but encouraged us to think critically and curiously about what we were learning”, she enthusiastically remarked.
