An outstanding set of results!
An outstanding set of results!
Congratulations to the Dux of Haileybury Rendall School, Peter Susanto, who achieved the outstanding and near-perfect ATAR of 99.60. This places Peter second across all Year 12 students in the entire Northern Territory. Remarkably, Peter was our youngest student and his result means that his dream to study Medicine here in Darwin can certainly be realised. Congratulations to Adam Koirala who was the Dux Proximus with an ATAR of 97.60.
It was incredibly pleasing that 20% of our students achieved extremely high ATARs above 95 which places them in the top 5% of students in Australia.
We are also delighted that 50% of students in our Year 12 cohort achieved an ATAR over 80 and that the median ATAR score was 80.2
As a recognised Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Education we are also thrilled to announce that we had 8 Indigenous students successfully graduate from Year 12 this year via the VCE or VCAL pathways.
The three outcomes above are the best ever in the short history of Haileybury Rendall School and the positive trend has not occurred by accident. In particular, We acknowledge the expertise and commitment of all our teachers who have worked with any of the Class of 2021 during their time at the School. Academic excellence is always a critical focus in our School and great teachers are the fundamental pillar of this.
All our Year 12 students deserve praise for their personal achievement, the strong bond they formed as a year level, their sustained work ethic and the constant support of their peers. We will always regard them as a very special year level.
I wish to also acknowledge and congratulate our counterparts in Haileybury Melbourne where 8 students achieved a perfect ATAR of 99.95. We look forward to continuing to foster and leverage our strong teaching and learning connections with Melbourne.
Join us in congratulating all our students on their achievements and thanking our staff for their contribution to these results.
These results are another step towards achieving our vision of being the best School in Northern Australia.
