Nick Eddy
Director of Boarding
Nick joined Haileybury Rendall School as a Humanities and Geography Teacher as well as Year 9 Level Coordinator in 2023.
In 2024 Nick was then also Deputy Head of Middle School, before moving into his new role as Director of Boarding. Nick has a Masters in International Relations and a Masters in Italian (Language and Literature) and before arriving to Haileybury, was a Humanities and Digital Technology teacher at Hastings Boys School in New Zealand.
Before becoming a teacher in 2020, Nick enjoyed an interesting career starting with the New Zealand Police which included international secondments and then was involved in management in both the public and private industries working with companies such as Coca-Cola and Google.
Nick has a keen interest in internationalism and travel together with a love of classical motorcycles. His personal philosophy is for his HRS students is to be kind, caring and to build global perspectives to enhance their knowledge and preparedness for the world outside of school.
