Welcome to Haileybury Rendall School where every student matters every day and where our vision is to be the best school in Northern Australia. Our School is closely affiliated with Haileybury and delivers high-quality education programs across its five campuses in Melbourne, including Haileybury Pangea, Australia's leading private online school, and one in Tianjin, China.
We draw on the experience, expertise and success of these campuses to establish our own plan for the future.
We have received awards from the Australian Education Awards, including Boarding School of the Year 2022 and Regional School of the Year 2023.
The Australian Education Awards showcase the top-performing schools, principals, department heads, and teachers for their outstanding achievements and transformative work that makes a profound difference in the lives of young people across Australia.
These awards acknowledge the outstanding staff and programs providing exceptional academic outcomes for students.
Developing and maintaining a strong academic culture is a top priority. We are fortunate to be able to use the expertise of Haileybury as a base for shaping our educational pathways. Our teaching framework includes the highly successful Explicit Teaching Model in the primary years and the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) in the senior years, both of which help drive outstanding results. The strong ties between Haileybury and Haileybury Rendall School also provide numerous opportunities for our community to take part in a broad and exciting range of activities.
Our academic structure is enhanced by an unwavering commitment to helping our students develop the life skills that are essential for living and working successfully.
The wellbeing of our students is at the forefront of everything we do, and we want all our students to leave school excited and prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Our academic and pastoral programs help foster this attitude by building skills in resilience, creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking.
We continue to build on our reputation as a leading Centre for Indigenous Educational Excellence. The recent growth in learning outcomes achieved by our Indigenous students in literacy and numeracy is outstanding and a direct result of the dedication and commitment of our students and teachers.
Boarding continues to flourish at the School. Our boarding facilities were recently upgraded and the opening of an International Boarding House in 2022 will allow us to cater for a wide range of students from across South-East Asia. This will further enhance our reputation of providing a diverse cultural experience for all our students.
We look forward to you visiting our School and becoming part of our community.
