A Darwin resident for over 20 years, Michelle has just returned to the school setting after spending the past 2.5 years as an Area Manager with a National Early Learning Provider, working closely with centres and leadership teams to uplift quality and standards for six early learning centres in Darwin. She has held a variety of leadership roles in the sector including 18 years working with Catholic education in the Early Learning and after-school care environment and managing both models of services as well as delivering Preschool programs and undertaking Educational Leader responsibilities.
Other roles have included Darwin City Council Community and Children project officer, Henbury school and inclusion support prior to gaining her qualification in children’s services and pathway to early years education.
With an early working background and qualification in the disability sector, Michelle is passionate about inclusivity and the importance of working collaboratively with families and their children to achieve the best possible outcomes.
