World’s Greatest Shave 2024
It is that time of year again where our school community starts to prepare for the World’s Greatest Shave. On Friday 22nd March Haileybury Rendall School will be holding its annual fundraising event where our students and staff will once again shave or colour their hair.
The funds that our school raises for the Leukaemia Foundation is used to support people that are diagnosed with a blood cancer. These funds go towards supporting the patients and their families as well as research. This money is also used to support thousands of Australians every year by providing services including information, emotional support and advocacy, educational programs, and access to a 'home away from home' accommodation for regional families that are required to relocate to the city for treatment.
This year we are aiming to increase our donation so please help and support our fundraising for the Leukaemia Foundation so they can continue with the amazing support that they offer the community.

Welcome back to 2024 to all existing and new parents for this exciting year ahead!
As a team here, we welcome Ruchini Durage onboard who will be Coordinating at the service. Ruchini will be assisting our Service Manager Nathan, for the year ahead, so be sure to pop in and say hello to those that haven’t yet towards the back end of Term 4, 2023, and over our most recent holidays with Vacation Care.
Our most recent Rocketeers Holiday Program included excursions consisting of two visits to Event Cinemas in Palmerston to watch ‘Trolls Band Together’ and ‘Wish’, our arcadia games festival at Time Zone in Casuarina, and we also strapped on our skates for ice skating at Darwin Ice Skating in Eaton.
We held days here at ‘Base Camp’ at the service which were highlighted by our Bubble Tea Café day, our Lemonade Stall day, our Lego ‘Create’ day which was followed by our Lego ‘Film Festival’ day, and our Back to School Bash just to name a few!
