Stars have been busy
Highlights include a Year 12 workplace visit to McDonald’s Casuarina, an all-Stars breakfast at Nightcliff Foreshore, and the Year 10 and 11 fishing trip to Dundee Beach.
Year 12 students have learned about employment opportunities at McDonald’s and experienced cooking their own burgers and making soft-serve ice cream, yum!
The Nightcliff Foreshore put on some perfect weather for a BBQ breakfast; we had so much fun mingling with all the other Stars Programs from different schools in the Darwin and Palmerston areas. After some interesting bets about who would catch the biggest fish at Dundee, unfortunately for the girls, we were all fish feeding without a catch! Fortunately for the fish, they all got to live another day.
We are looking forward to more adventures in Term 3.
