Wellbeing Week

We are all very excited in the lead-up to Wellbeing Week, which is taking place in Week 6. Students move into their new year levels on Monday with Years 8, 9 & 10 (2025) students participating in a wide range of activities covering the themes of Connect, Move, Reflect, Create, and Action. The major events are workshops with The Man Cave and Flourish Journey; excursions to Casuarina Coastal Reserve and Leanyer Waterpark for Year 8, and Darwin Waterfront for Year 9; Amazing Race for Year 10 (2025); plus dozens of rotation activities designed to engage and excite our students. For any students attending an excursion, please ensure the consent form is completed as per myNotices.

Tutor Group Restructure

After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce a restructure of Tutor Groups from Term 1A onwards. Students will now be in horizontal Tutor Groups with peers of their own year level. Students will be in classes of mixed House groupings, and we are confident the new structure will help students to build on their relationships and feel more comfortable with peers of their age. This will also support the effectiveness of our Personal Excellence (PEX) program, as Tutor Group teachers will run both class groupings. Students can find out their new Tutor Groups on Monday morning by referring to their timetables on myHRS, and printed sheets outside MS/SS Reception.
