Family, camaraderie, and champions
The last few weeks have been fantastic down in the Junior School, and it’s hard to believe we’re already approaching the end of the term!
Our Father’s Day breakfast was a huge success, with many families joining us for a pancake or two on Friday morning. It was wonderful to see so many families there, and I know your children loved spending this time with you. We’re already looking forward to next year’s breakfast.
Over the weekend, we participated in the Tournament of Minds competition, and we’re thrilled to announce that both Junior School teams won their respective categories in Social Science and STEM. We are incredibly proud of their achievements, and they will now travel to the Tournament of Minds International Finals in November. Additionally, we have a Middle School team heading to the finals, so HRS will be well represented at the competition!
Our students continue to engage in our wonderful House events, highlighted by our recent Cross-Country morning. Nearly all students attended and participated, making it a fantastic start to the day. Next, our students will prepare for the upcoming House Singing Competition in Week 10. The house singing is always a crowd favourite so please come along and enjoy the singing.
Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome Happy Healthy Harold next week—a visit that is always a highlight for our students!
We are also excited that next week is the musical and we hope you have all booked your tickets to the show!
