New beginnings in Boarding

''This year went so slow and so fast, so many memories were made, like our trips to Litchfield almost every weekend. I formed lifelong friendships this year with many of the Year 12s, I have made unforgettable memories, priceless experiences, some funny, some bad but all worthwhile." This reflection from Year 11 boarder, Teniwah, beautifully sums up what has been an engaging 2024 for our Boarder Community.

I am delighted to see the way students across all year levels support one another, take part in the activities on offer, and develop our place that really does feel like a home away from home.

I am five weeks into my new role as Director of Boarding and loving what I am experiencing as well as the learning that is underway.

I want to take this time to thank all families and caregivers for entrusting us at Boarding with your precious young people. None of this would be possible without the commitment and support of the Boarding Staff, so I would like to wish them and our Boarders happy holidays.

We look forward to what excellence looks like in 2025 at HRS Boarding.
